After the release of the RockSlugCustoms Gen3 Hilux Project on Youmagine.com, we knew we had to offer up a solid option to protect these super scale bodies that take so many hours to print and assemble.
Like the rest of our welded products, this package is all 100% 304 Stainless Steel. We start off the front and rear bumpers with 3.2mm thick mounting plates and lengthened a 2.5mm thick center plate both front and rear to hide the eye-sore factory plastic bumper mounts from view, then add in a clean single main bar with strong supports which follow the body lines.
The rock sliders are designed to mount up around the cab mounts with no interference, leaving abundant access to the two screws per side that secure the cab. You will never need to remove these sliders to lift the cab for maintenance access. A little bit different from our typical slider, we added a little bit more flair, more coverage area for greater protection and more support for higher strength.
