Custom Styrene Fabrication & Hardbody Modifications

One of our main specialties is doing custom modifications to 1:10 scale R/C hardbodies and creating custom interior or body panels out of styrene. This includes bobbing beds, extending wheelbases, creating new drop beds with or without shock tower covers, dovetailing beds, pinching front ends, half door caps and more. Most projects will require us to have your rig in hand as a roller, while some may be completed simply with accurate measurements by the customer.

Custom Metal Work

Custom metal work is one of our favorite things to do when given the freedom to be creative. Tell us what you want, what your vision is and let us bring it to life with our own personal flair. No matter what it is or what 1:10 scale truck it is for, pictures will help immensely when designing something to fit your rig perfectly.

All cagework will require your truck as a slider (at a minimum) to be in-house for custom fabrication. This includes basic bumper-to-tube slider fender armor.

Most front or rear bumpers can be fabricated by using measurements you give us for outside chassis width, body width and height from chassis to name a couple. Some may require your rig to be in-house.

Roll bars can also be fabricated from measurements you give us. However, it is favorable for certain bodies to be in-house for the custom work.

Due to the nature of custom cagework, whether complex or simple design, we cannot give a lead time. We will do our best to update and communicate throughout the process and when it is done, billing will be finalized and the project will be shipped.

LSrcFab is a Veteran owned and operated company based in rural Illinois with a rich history in scale modelling and r/c back to the days of crystal radios, growing up with elder family members teaching all of the little tips and tricks to take each scale car, truck or plane to the next level of detail and realism. Every product we offer and all custom work is carefully made, doing our best to overlook not a single detail.

We offer some laser cut parts in 6061 T6 or 7075 T6 Aluminum, mild steel or 304 Stainless Steel and all of our metal work is hand bent, formed and either brazed or welded in-house.

Our hardbody modifications and custom styrene work are our pride & joy, some of which have won awards and we will guarantee 100% satisfaction. If a seam or panel cracks or breaks under normal conditions, send it back and we will take care of it to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
